The Show

Theme Bikes

The theme for the 2024 Chief Blackhawk Davenport Swap Meet is Military Motorcycles! Please show your patriotism by bringing that Military Bike and putting it on display to be honored in the EXPO BUILDING.

Bring that unit to the meet, so all may see it! Send us a picture of your pride and joy and we will add it to the collection of theme bike pictures. Pictures can be sent to [email protected].

Just to refresh your memories, the themes for the meets since we first started doing theme bikes are here.

In 2025, our theme bikes will be “Motorcycles of the ’80’s – Put on your leg warmers and spandex, use a whole can of Aqua Net to get really big hair and bring your 1980’s bike to display! Go “Back to the Future” with Chief Blackhawk in 2025!

The Bike Show

The Motorcycle Show is returning to the Expo Building, where it was held for many years. This building is larger than the Iowa Building and is air-conditioned for the comfort of the Meet attendees.

  • ELIGIBLE MOTORCYCLES: As before, all motorcycles, scooters, 3-wheelers, and minibikes 35 years old and older may be entered. These would be models from 1989 and older. This year’s theme is Military Motorcycles. Please help us honor all military motorcycles and please bring your military bike to be displayed and admired.
  • NEW LOCATION. The Motorcycle Show will return to the Expo Building. This will provide more space for the display bikes and with the air conditioning, more comfort for the Meet attendees. The Expo Building will be closed and secured at night. Please watch for signs directing you to the motorcycle entrance and sign-in area
  • SHOW HOURS. Entries will be welcomed starting at 8:00 AM Wednesday, continuing through Saturday at 4:00 PM. All motorcycles must be registered and tagged at the door when entering the Expo Building. Display hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. The building WILL BE CLOSED AND LOCKED EACH NIGHT – no motorcycles removed or entered except during open display hours.
  • SIMPLIFIED REGISTRATION. Motorcycle & Owner information will be gathered as before, and we continue to use a SINGLE HANDLEBAR TAG rather than the 2 tags previously used. This tag will include the tear-off CLAIM CHECK portion, as well as the Registration number used for identification and awards voting.
  • AWARDS TIMES. The announcement of awards will be at 1:00 PM Saturday. ONLY Bikes still in the display building Saturday afternoon will be eligible for awards. BRING YOUR ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLES & HELP MAKE THIS THE BEST SHOW YET!
