The Bike Show
2022 Davenport Motorcycle Display.
In conjunction with the 2022 Chief Blackhawk Davenport Meet, the motorcycle show is returning as before while moving to one of the new buildings to better accommodate the latest Fairgrounds and Health Department guidelines. Please note the following.
- ELIGIBLE MOTORCYCLES. As before, all motorcycles, scooters, 3-wheelers & minibikes 35 Years old and older may be entered. This year's theme is 1940's models, inspired by Jack Miller's 1946 Indian.
- NEW LOCATION. To allow convenient viewing of the show bikes and minimize traffic tie-ups and congestion, this year’s motorcycle display will be located in the new IOWA BUILDING. During the day we have overhead doors on all sides to provide ventilation and natural lighting, while still allowing the display to be closed and secured at night. Watch for signs directing you to the entrance and sign-in.
- SHOW HOURS. Entries welcomed starting Thursday morning at 8:00 AM, continuing through Saturday at 4 PM. Bikes must be registered & tagged at the door when entering the display building. Display is open from 8 AM to 5 PM Thursday & Friday, and 8 AM to 4 PM Saturday. Building WILL BE CLOSED & LOCKED EACH NIGHT – no motorcycles removed or entered except during open display hours.
- SIMPLIFIED REGISTRATION. Motorcycle & Owner information will be gathered as before, and we continue to use a SINGLE HANDLEBAR TAG rather than the 2 tags previously used. This tag will include the tear-off CLAIM CHECK portion, as well as the Registration number used for identification and awards voting.
- AWARDS TIMES. The announcement of awards will be at 2 PM Saturday. Our display committee will identify and select award recipients on Saturday morning between 9 and 11 A.M. ONLY Bikes still in the display building Saturday afternoon will be eligible for awards. BRING YOUR ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLES & HELP MAKE THIS THE BEST SHOW YET!

The BIG BLUE Expo
The Chief Blackhawk Davenport Meet Antique Motorcycle Services and Suppliers EXPO is held in the BIG BLUE building on the Clark Street side of the South vending area.
EXCITING NEWS!!
Chief Blackhawk is responding to requests for vending spaces in an area away from the frequent changes in Iowa weather. Big Blue is now open to all types of vendors! You are welcome to bring those parts and pieces you'd like to protect from the elements. Have that complete bike or choice basket case? Got a fragile box of literature or original paint antique toy? We've got the space for you!
Spaces will be 15 feet deep by 20 feet wide and there are plenty of them! This year only, 2022, spaces are an introductory $50.00 per space.
As Big Blue is locked at night, there is no camping in vending spots. Vehicles will be allowed for unloading and loading only. Spaces are reserved the same way as other swapmeet spaces.
For more information please call Wendy or Juli. Email chiefblackhawkamc@gmail.com or call 563-381-4015. Please allow a week or so for a reply.
Theme Bikes
The theme for the 2022 Chief Blackhawk Davenport Fall National Meet is "Those 1940's bikes."
Bring that unit to the meet, so all may see it! Send us a picture of your pride and joy and we will add it to the collection of theme bike pictures. Pictures can be sent to finneys@ieee.org.
Just to refresh your memories, the themes for the meets since we first started doing theme bikes are here.
